Pacial Damkam | Maryville University Athletics Hall of Fame 2018

[Jeff M.] When that
ball landed on his foot. Something was gonna happen. -(referee whistles)
-(crowd cheers and claps) Whether it was a very organized and a couple quick moves and a shot, or just an opportunity where he might take an off-balance sliding something, but somehow, the ball got off his foot in the right direction, and it really meant a lot to progress. They made him think, he made them think about his presence on the field. My teammates, they were very skillful. They contributed to my
success as a goal-scorer because without them,
even as a goal-scorer, if they are not skillful to see, to have the vision to
see when you are open. Then you are not gonna be able to finish and to score all the goals. Pacial brought a lot to the team, both on and off the field. Off the field he was always so positive, genuine, respectful
from guys young and old. It was never a bad word
that he said about anyone, he was just a joy to be around. On the field it was quit different. He brought a presence, and he
brought an ability to finish. By finish I mean score goals,
that was really unique. I want to give my teammate all the credit. And I’m very, very thankful
because of them I’m going to be inducted in to Maryville
University Hall of Fame. Pacial was special. Any time he had the ball
at his feet, you knew that something magical could
and probably would happen. He was just a lot of fun to watch.
